Nutrition for you and me

In association with VLCC Institute a webinar will be conducted on 26th June 2021. The Topic for Seminar will be "Nutrition for you and me". The following are the topics that can be covered in Seminars:

 *   Managing your weight through healthy food

Speaker:

Arti Sharma, a qualified, Nutrition trainer & has about 12 years of teaching experience, currently working as nutrition faculty at the Nutrition & Dietetics dept of VLCC institute Delhi.

Education:

M.Sc. Agra University 2004
B.Sc. (Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics). Agra University in 2001

Specialization:

Postgraduate certificate in Diabetes Educator program Sita Ram Bhartia Institute( project HOPE, International Diabetes Federation (IDF). 2011

Experience:  

Her job profile includes working as guest faculty at the dept of Nutrition and dietetics, T. R. Girls college, Aligarh (2005-2008). Followed by at dept of Food Craft Institute, at AMU Polytechnic Aligarh. Later attended training Under the guidance of the chief dietician in the Dietetic dept of  Escort Heart Institute,  Delhi.
In the year 2011, attended Post Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education conducted by project HOPE, affiliated with International Diabetic Federation. Then started working with Dr Shikha Sharma Nutri Health and Dr G. Wellness as Nutritionist & Diabetes Educator ( 2012-2014), however, with a keen interest in academics, shifted to the teaching profession and joined the VLCC institute in 2014 til date.

She has given workshop and seminars on various nutrition topics like Child care nutrition, Diabetes management, Diet in heart disease, nutrition for healthy skin, hair and nails, Diet in mental disorder, Diet for boosting immunity, Osteoporosis, Anaemia, PCOD etc.

Achievements:

 She received the National Nutrition award in the field of Nutrition organised by the "Nutrition and Natural Health Sciences Association" in New Delhi (2019).
