The National Institute of Management & Technology was established in the year 1992.

The Institutions are accredited and approved by state government universities and regulatory councils including Bar Council of India, All India Council for Technical Education,Indian Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council of India, National Council of Teacher Education, University Grants Commission (UGC) amongst others. NIMT is one of the few institutions in Asia that maintains a 1:13 faculty-student ratio and appoints faculty members from India and different parts of the world with outstanding academic qualifications and experience. NIMT Institute of Method & Law (NIMT विधि एवं कानून संसथान) – BA LLB
The vision for the Institute of Method & Law is to provide excellence in legal education and to produce quality lawyers with good moral principles and great human values. The Institute was established in year 2012 and commenced the five years BA LLB integrated programme in year 2012.
The programme seeks to promote multi-disciplinary analysis of the socio-legal problems by designing its course-structure and teaching methods to realize these objectives. The methods of teaching in the Institute of Method & Law include lecture discussions, case law analysis, moot court training, project assignment and placement programmes. In addition, the School organizes seminars on contemporary legal issues, conducts clinical courses and trains students in legal research and legal writing. By the time a student completes the 5-year programme he/she will be fully equipped with the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of law to become a full-fledged responsible member of the legal profession.
The Institution has an active Career Development Cell (CDC) that works with the students from the very beginning to help students find the right fit. At the end of every year, the students are placed for two months long summer internships. The CDC works to help students match with different companies across the five internships in order to allow student to explore the various opportunities and domains available after the programme. A student might be places in a firm specialising in taxation law in 1st year, cyber law in 2nd year and so on and so forth. By the time a candidate graudates, he/she shall have clarity on what he seeks to do after graduation. The final internship also gives the students to convert into pre placement offer or PPO. Regular on campus placements in LPOs KPOs, Law Firms, Consutling Firms, IT Firms, Banks, NBFCs and other companies are also held.
