Old fashioned study is no more in trend, in this electronic era students search out for study material online. They are no longer interested in taking classes while sitting in class. Nowadays, students check out for any problems they face regarding their studies. We have seen how technology is changing the nature of instruction and learning. Rather than just consuming study material online, students’ needs to upload and give their views as articles so that future students’ reading them may get help.

The goal of the initiative was to investigate how students could be transformed from consumers to developers of online content. Choosing a subject like climate and sustainability and creating an online page where students can update their theories and researches and can also get to know about what it all brings. Nowadays everything is online and students also wish to study online. They can do so by creating a team and creating online content. Students must be encouraged so that they can do better in their field of research. Students can also describe their personal experiences with making personal change and can also give personal recommendations of how online learners can take action at the personal, community and national level.

Students with the help of teachers can bring out their research and upload them online. It'll help learners to get knowledge about new stuff. The structure of the course must be in that way that allows online learners to engage with materials that are of their personal areas of interest and desired level of commitment. Colleges are also using technology to enhance and expand their missions of delivering learning. The daily use of all forms of digital media is part of our lives and therefore becomes a key component to education. The production of digital media influenced students’ behavior and educators’ attitudes towards formal and informal learning. Supporting equipment also helps in the digital experience providing dynamic and contrasting ways of connecting with society. Deeper learning is attained by students’ interacting with their own work. When students will make their content online, they will firstly read their content that helps in understanding that efficiently, as they will make many attempts to edit and modify the content. Digital media programs, such as making video games for learning, provide students skills in communication, aesthetic, creativity, and technical knowledge necessary for becoming successful digital citizens. The challenge for educators is to constantly review and design educational approaches supporting students towards the tools meaningfully and within a defined learning experience that helps students to become active participants and authors of their own identity and creativity.

Today’s students are members of the “digital generation”. They have spent their lives surrounded by visual, electronic media and virtual reality. It is important that faculty members of universities become designers of learning experiences, in which they students tend to learn primarily on their own through reading, writing, and problem solving. They can develop collective learning experiences in which students work together and learn together, with the faculty member becoming more of a consultant or a coach than a teacher. Faculty members are more focused on inspiring, motivating and managing an active learning process by students. The process of creating new knowledge of research and scholarship is also helping students to learn new skills.

The preservation of knowledge is one of the most rapidly changing functions of the university. For many centuries, the focal point of the university has been its library with its collection of written works preserving the knowledge of civilization. Nowadays such knowledge exists in many forms as text, graphics, sound, algorithms and virtual reality and it also exists in digital form.
