- Where do I apply for education loan(s)?
Students seeking educational loans should visit the Vidya Lakshmi Portal, https://www.vidyalakshmi.co.in/Students/, to browse and apply for loans at banks whenever and wherever convenient.
- How authentic is the Vijay Lakshmi portal?
The Vijay Lakshmi is completely official and above-board. It is an initiative undertaken by the Department of Financial Services (Ministry of Finance), Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and Indian Banks Association (IBA). It is maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited.
- What kind of scholarships can I hope to get?
There are a number of government scholarships that a student can get post-admission. They are:
- National Scholarship Portal – Visit the National Scholarship Portal, https://scholarships.gov.in/, to know in detail about all the scholarships you can avail of using various services like student application, sanction, receipt, etc.
- UP Scholarship Portal – Students with Uttar Pradesh as their domicile state should visit this portal, http://scholarship.up.nic.in/, but bear in mind that schedules are subject to change and regular perusal is imperative.
- Other State Scholarships – Students of other domicile states can either look up their states’ scholarship portals, or apply via the UP Scholarship Portal and fill in the name of their respective domicile states in the application forms.
- Are there any NIMT scholarships I can apply for?
Yes. NIMT is currently providing the COVID-19 Warriors Scholarship to students whose guardians are working as doctors, nurses, para-medical staff, police, bankers, civic staff, farmers, state and central government employees during these trying times. - Is there a half-yearly mode of fee payment available?
Yes. But note that the deadline of fee payment for every academic year is 10th January. Ensure that your half-yearly mode of payment meets the deadline.
- Is there an EMI option of fee payment?
No Cost EMI option is available for students to pay their fees on a monthly or quarterly basis. The student or their guardian must possess a credit card to avail this option.
COURSES
Diploma in General Nurse Midwifery (GNM/DGNM)
- What is GNM?
GNM is short for General Nurse Midwifery. NIMT Hospital, Greater Noida offers DGNM, a 3-year undergraduate diploma course offered to those who want to be trained in women’s gynaecological health, prenatal and post-natal care.
- What is the educational qualification required to apply for GNM?
Indian nationals must have obtained 40% in their 10+2 (including English) from any recognized board. Candidates who are registered ANMs with pass marks are also eligible. - How much does GNM cost?
The first-year fee for GNM is ₹71,500. For the following years, the yearly fee is ₹64,000.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing)
- What is B.Sc Nursing?

- What is the education qualification required to apply for B.Sc Nursing?
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science (PCB) with English Elective/Core with an aggregate of 45% marks from any recognized board. The same criteria apply for candidates who took tests under the National Institute of Open School.

NIMT follows a transdisciplinary approach wherein Social Sciences Subjects like Economics, English, History, Political Science and Sociology are taught besides Law subjects in the first two years of BA LLB.

- What can I do after LLB?
Being a litigation lawyer is the most common professional course that LLB graduates choose. Apart from this, joining the corporate sector is also a major lucrative career option.
- What other job opportunities can LLB graduates aspire for?
